Mission
BetSomali is an independent review platform covering online sportsbooks accessible from Somalia and the Somali diaspora. We publish honest, screenshot-tested reviews and practical guides — no hype, no fake bonuses, no "guaranteed strategies."
We are not affiliated with any operator. We do not accept payment to inflate ratings. Some pages may include affiliate links — when they do, we mark them clearly and our rankings remain editorially independent.

Ku saabsan BetSomali
BetSomali waa madal dib u eegis madax-banaan ah oo daboolaysa shirkadaha sharratada onlaynka ah ee laga galo Soomaaliya iyo qurbo-jooga Soomaaliyeed.
Halal and sharia context
Most of our readers are Muslims. Mainstream Sunni scholarship classifies sports betting as maysir — a form of gambling — and considers it haram. That is the dominant view in Somali religious life.
Some scholars argue narrower interpretations apply to skill-based prediction or non-monetary contests. We will present these positions neutrally on a dedicated halal-context page (publishing later in May 2026) without taking a religious position ourselves.
The decision to bet — or not — is personal, religious, and beyond what a review site should rule on. Our job is to document, not to prescribe.
Legal context
Online betting is formally illegal under Somali federal law and, in practice, accessed via international (offshore) operators rather than locally licensed platforms. We document the legal status without endorsing circumvention. A dedicated legal-status page with full citations is publishing later in May 2026.
Editorial independence
Our rankings are based on product quality — interface, payout reliability, mobile-money support, customer service — not on affiliate commission. When two operators pay similar commissions, the better product wins. This means our top picks reflect what we'd actually use, not what pays best. See our editorial policy for the full methodology.
